 Chisel
Plane Kits
A chisel plane is a special type of plane with an iron that sticks out
in front of the body like a chisel. This allows you to get into those
hard to reach places without having the plane body get in the way. The
solid hardwood cap and body are pre-cut from kiln-dried stock and come
with a thick, 3/16" plane iron made of high quality hardened steel.
 Hand
Plane Kit
Even if you have every power tool in your shop, it's still almost
impossible to get by without at least one good quality block plane. Now
you can build your own with this kit. It features a solid hardwood body
with solid brass side plates and a hardened steel 3/16"-thick x
1-1/2"-wide plane iron and cap.
 Marking
Gauge Kit
A marking gauge makes quick work out of laying out mortises and tenons
or other lines parallel to the end of a workpiece. This gauge is made
from hardwood and brass with a sliding fence that is held securely in
position by tightening a brass thumbscrew. It accommodates a pencil
lead, scribing point, or an X-Acto knife blade as the scribing point.
 Scraper
Sharpening Jig with Scraper
This jig makes the process of sharpening and burnishing a scraper nearly
foolproof. With it, you can quickly and accurately sharpen scrapers at
either a 45 degree or a 90 degree angle. (45 degrees makes a sharper
burr that is perfect for the times when you need a more aggressive cut,
for example, to remove planer marks.) It is made from durable extruded
aluminum and includes a Nicholson file.
 Set-Up
Gauge Kit
A set-up gauge is the perfect tool for checking blade and bit heights,
setting fence distances, and checking the depth of mortises, rabbets,
and dadoes. The gauge has a solid hardwood body that comes pre-cut and
ready for assembly. All the brass parts are pre-drilled.
 Sliding
Bevel Gauge Kit
A bevel gauge is perfect for laying out angles directly on a workpiece,
and for accurately picking up and duplicating angles from existing
workpieces. This gauge has a solid hardwood body and a solid brass
blade. Brass trim plates on the body ensure accuracy and look great. A
large brass wing nut makes it easy to lock in the angle once it's set.
